Original brand identity
A distinctive name treatment and character-led visual identity.
From the original brand to the shopfront and the materials customers take home. A complete creative service for an independent Kettering record shop.

Buster’s Records is an independent record shop in Kettering, selling vinyl, CDs, music memorabilia and collectibles. Its branding brings that love of music into a recognisable visual identity.
We designed the original brand and continue to design the shop’s collateral. The work extends from flyers and business cards to the shop signage, which we also installed.
That hands-on involvement connects the first design decisions with the finished materials and the shopfront itself.
The dog character, headphones, star-shaped glasses and vinyl record give Buster’s a personality of its own. Bold lettering and bright blue accents connect the identity across its different applications.

The double-sided flyer brings together the shop’s products, services and location. The same identity gives the business cards a clear connection to the shopfront and other materials.

The fascia and window graphics bring the brand into the physical shopfront, combining the Buster’s name with music-inspired graphics and information about the shop.
Our involvement included installing the shop signage, taking the project through from the original identity to its application on site.
